I, and many thousands of other US citizens are not able to get appropriate medical care for Lyme disease. This is a treatable disease but tragically, the nation-wide medical community has become paralyzed in providing appropriate care for the advanced stage of this disease because of conflicts of interest by insurance companies and the CDC. This must be investigated and corrected before more people needlessly suffer and die from this disease.
Why is this important?
I have become disabled by a disease that started by a tick bite 15 years ago. I have learned that my case is not unique and that Lyme disease is an epidemic in our country that is caught in a medical -politically motivated nightmare. Thousands are needlessly suffering and dying from lack of medical care.
