Super majority of votes in election needed to pass Washington State Initiatives

In order to pass a voter initiative in the state of Washington 2/3 of the voters must vote in favor of the initiative.

Why is this important?

Tim Eyman has wasted Washington State's time and money on numerous unconstitutional voter initiatives, and that is nothing compared to the damage to the state that could be done if he managed to submit an initiative that passed that wasn't unconstitutional. Furthermore, it is much easier for special interest groups to buy Tim Eyman's support than it is for them to buy state government officials, which means the current initiative process unfairly tilts power towards the wealthy. By requiring a 2/3 vote to pass new initiatives it will take that destructive power away from Tim Eyman and special interest groups.
