We, the people of Washington state, want our U.S. Senators, Murray and Cantwell, to support and ensure that the U.S. Senate introduces and passes an immigration bill that provides a reasonable, just
pathway to citizenship that keeps families together.
Why is this important?
A bill to fix our broken immigration system is being created in the U.S. Senate by the bipartisan "Gang of Eight." It would be unjust to support a bill which would result in a second class tier of workers who would most likely continue to be victims of poor working conditions, threats, detention centers, and extremely low pay by U.S. employers and private prisons who take advantage of the present immigration system.
