Rural NM needs jobs, good jobs. We have abundant sunshine just waiting to give us electricity. We need a BIG investment in infrastructure to increase access to clean energy, and create millions of jobs for our people.
Why is this important?
The cost of infrastructure for renewable energy is at an all-time low and dropping steadily. We have a chance of meeting the planetary goal of cutting our greenhouse gases by 8 to 10% per year beginning NOW if we want a 50/50 chance of keeping below a rise in temperature of 2 degrees Celsius. What cleaner way to put rural New Mexicans back to work?
