Little Silver needs you to advocate for School Funding Reform NOW!
Why is this important?
Little Silver contributes nearly 22 million in tax dollars to the state of NJ, but receives less than $400,000 annually for our schools. 94.3% of our district’s budget comes from our local tax base. Despite our high property taxes, to meet the 2018-2019 budget, the district was forced to cut two teaching positions, one administrative position and one support staff member. Three additional teaching positions and one support staff position were reduced to part-time. The health of our schools affects every resident of Little Silver. We need our legislators to IMMEDIATELY reform the funding process for school districts like Little Silver.
