Support expanding Medicaid, your rural constituents can't afford Obamacare!

Expand Medicaid for 191,000 poor and disabled Virginians. Expanding Medicaid will help create 30,000 new jobs and save Virginia taxpayers billions of dollars per year.

Why is this important?

Most of the people on Medicaid here are seniors who have worked hard their entire lives, paying taxes into the system for other people's benefits. They are not lazy welfare kings and queens, they are not neo-communists who feel too entitled to support true capitalism, they are regular people who have paid their entire lives for benefits that the state is now saying they probably won't receive. These elderly former farmers and their families put food on your plate, those who work on Dahlgren navy base, most of whom were deployed at some point, risked their lives to keep the invaders off our shores. And most of all, they paid you millions of dollars each over their entire lives with the expectation of a few hundred a month back so they wouldn't spend their last years tilling the field until their hearts explode in their chests! They too believe in the value of hard work and christian values, they are just like you. So how dare you deny them and hundreds of thousands others their very lives simply because of a personal ideological slant? Support Medicaid expansion in Virginia! The generally underserved Northern neck region especially! King George may not be poor, but we aren't rich either, and most of us can't afford to pay full coverage premiums into our last years.
