Support Massachusetts H.415 - to emergency stock epinephrine in schools. This act will require schools to "maintain a stock supply of non-patient specific epinephrine to be administered in the event of an anaphylactic emergency." This can be a life-saving measure for those previously undiagnosed students who would not have access to epinephrine otherwise.
Why is this important?
Many children have their first Food Allergy reaction in the school setting. This medication could be a life-saving measure for those students not having access to the medication otherwise. A Massachusetts Emergency Stock Epinephrine Bill (H.430) was introduced in January 2013 which has undergone several revisions. It is currently re-filed as Bill H.415 and is awaiting a decision from the Healthcare Finance Committee to move forward. Please show your support by signing this petition to request that this Bill moves to the next level in the legislative process and encourage the Governor to sign it into Massachusetts General Law.
