Support of requirement for bicyclists in Vermont to register their bikes to ride on public roads

Support VT Senate bill, S.196, to require a resident 18 years of age or older who operates a bicycle on state highways to register the vehicle.

Why is this important?

To support S196, which requires bicyclists over the age of 18 who are Vermont residents, to register their bikes. This would require these operators to become knowledgeable of their responsibilities and their rights when riding on Vermont public roads.
