We need support to show our Board Of Supervisors that we will NO longer accept minimum funding from the county. We need to let our Board of Supervisors know our children are important to us and we are willing to pay additional taxes to properly fund our schools.
If you are a home owner/property owner in Orange County, VA we are asking you to sign a petition to let The Board of Supervisors know that you agree to the $.08 increase in Real Estate tax to properly fund Orange County Public Schools.
Remember ONLY Orange Co, VA land owners/property owners may sign this petition.
Deadline for this petition is Feb 28th 2012.
Why is this important?
Orange County School Board needs public support to increase Real Estate taxes by $.08 instead of the historical $.01. Our schools are drastically underfunded in comparison to surrounding counties.
