Support Pennsylvania Healthy Workplace Legislation

According to the Workplace Bullying Institute, workplace bullying is repeated, health-harming mistreatment of one or more persons ("the targets") by one or more perpetrators that takes one or more of the following forms: (1) Verbal abuse; (2) Offensive conduct/behaviors (including nonverbal) which are threatening, humiliating, or intimidating; (3) Work interference—sabotage—which actually prevents work from getting done. While obviously unethical, many of these behaviors are technically legal. Your signature on this petition is a call to identify, outlaw and thereby stop bullying in the workplace.

Why is this important?

Nearly 14 million American adults are bullied in the workplace, and millions more experience the degrading effects of witnessing mistreatment. Please sign the petition to sponsor or co-sponsor an anti-bullying Healthy Workplace Bill when introduced in Pennsylvania and support the bill through the legislative process.
