Dear President Vacarr,
Please join your student body in supporting Senator Warren's bill "Bank on Students Loan Fairness Act." The cost of higher education in America is drastically limiting who can obtain a higher degree and this weakens the fabric of American society. We the students call upon the leaders of our institutions of higher education to support us by supporting this critical legislation.
Why is this important?
Like me, you are probably also depending on loans to get your degree. Congress is considering options for dealing with the student loan program. Some of these would punish us for the budget deficit, other options, like Senator Warren's would give us a dependable, low-cost source for funding our education.
