It's shameful that PA is one of the states that refuses to implement a state-wide healthcare insurance exchange; the least that Federal representatives of PA citizens can do is to make every effort to provide this most basic of needs for affordable health insurance. People should be put before the greed of corporate insurance profit seekers! You represent people, not political agendas of industries that are notoriously abandoning what should be their core mission - to help the ill.
Why is this important?
Too many families are marginalized, bankrupted, and suffer with treatable illnesses. Healthcare is a basic human need. Medical services, like education and corrections, should not be profit driven. Footing out-of-pocket health insurance premiums for coverage that is less than adequate has gone on far longer than it should ever have for many working poor families like mine!
