Keep our tax dollars in Homer-Center. Do not subcontract the dedicated cafeteria workers in our public schools. We do not support allowing a for-profit corporation to come into our public schools. Support our local residents and community!
Why is this important?
The Homer-Center School District is threatening to fire the district's school cafeteria workers and to subcontract their work to a private for-profit corporation.
This will mean local tax dollars will leave our district and local residents will lose their jobs. Even if they are hired by the company, their salaries and benefits will be slashed. Please contact the Homer-Center School Board and Administration and tell them that our public schools are not for sale to the higest bidder!
