Invite President Obama to support the National Cesar E. Chavez Blood Drive Challenge!
President Obama,
We invite you to support the 2014 National Cesar E. Chavez Blood Drive Challenge!
This is an annual health service learning initiative lead by college students nationwide engaging thousands of new Latino/Hispanic blood donors and bone marrow registry members now reaching 300+ universities. This grassroots effort is quickly becoming the largest national campaign of its type promoting health education, health & science careers, civic engagement and saving lives! Student Leaders, to include many health pre-professionals, are earning scholarships and gaining valuable organizing experience educating their communities and helping to save lives!
President Obama, could the White House get behind this very positive nationwide student-lead initiative?
Would you be willing to invite the winning college campus to the White House?

Will you help to encourage President Obama to support the National Cesar E. Chavez Blood Drive Challenge?
Only 3% of the U.S. Latino/Hispanic population donate blood, yet it is the fastest growing segment of our population. We can turn this situation around into a solution for our entire nation. Let's increase Latino/Hispanic participation in blood donation and bone marrow registry by inviting more Latino/Hispanic student leaders on more college campuses to take on this challenge. It's working! Over 70,000+ college students have participated already.
We would like President Obama to support the campaign by possibly inviting some of the student leaders to the White House. What do you think?
