Why is this important?
We, the undersigned, would like to see the hearing process started on Senate Bill#791and House Bill #1490. The United States Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) program needs to be amended. This RECA amendment bill could help many of our countrymen who feel the federal government and nuclear industry abandoned them after they gave health and lives to support U.S. efforts during the nuclear arms race, the Atoms for Peace program and the uranium mining industry. They are called Cold War Patriots, let's treat them like it.
