Why is this important?
Your right to vote is a NON-PARTISAN issue. I was personally dumbfounded to learn that this bill, presented by a Senator Fitzpatrick (R) in order to save an estimated $500,000 to counties statewide was shot down by fellow republican Senator, Jeff Essman, who wrote. “Vote-by-mail is designed to increase participation rates of lower propensity voters." This is fundamentally un-American - to have a public servant in his capacity with his power reveal that he wants to arrange an election in such a way as to keep people from voting...?
