Please sign this petition in support of Walter Shaub and the OGE taking a stand against DT's and potential cabinet appointees' conflicts of interest. He is being threatened by Jason Chaffetz, Chair of the House Oversight Committee, for doing the job he was hired to do, which is the prevention of conflicts of interest on the part of the federal executive branch.
Why is this important?
I am starting this petition to protect our democracy from a weakening of safeguards like the Office of Government Ethics. DT and GOP are threatening to defund the OGE.
