Supreme Court Decision on Health Care reform

Today is a very momentous day in the history of this country. Chief Justice John Roberts in a defining moment stepped away from Justice Kennedy and the three arch conservative justices, Scalia, Alito and Thomas and upheld the individual mandate of President Obama's signature piece of legislation which not only is victory for the white house but more important, a victory for the American people. The U.S. Supreme Court has the lowest rating with the American People with only 44% approving of their rulings which have been seen as politically motivated and not based on objective legal analysis. So for Chief Justice John Roberts to uphold the individual mandate of the health care reform legislation by joining with the more enlightened judges of the court is a huge reversal of what was expected. But rest assured that the Republican Party will not rest until the law is repealed or replaced without any thought to the 33 million people who will now have health care coverage.
The House Republicans have already scheduled July 11 for a vote to repeal the bill.
The Supreme Court has spoken and The Republican party should accept the ruling and abide by the rule of Law and MOVEON! The elected officials should be informed that the American People accept the ruling as issued and urge the legislators to concentrate on writing a jobs bill which will help the economy, instead of promoting partisan politics.

Why is this important?

Republican elected officials are attempting to derail the supreme Court decision on health care.
