Suspend Fracking

The safety of hydraulic fracturing of subsurface petroleum-bearing strata will be suspended pending reassessment of its safety and the possible threat to public water sources. The stability of rock formations and the possibility earth movement and structure damage must also be evaluated pending possible resumption or start of resource recovery by this method.

Why is this important?

Three recent and often cited studies declaring fracking without danger have been debunked. University backed units in two cases were either eliminated or department heads resigned/retired. A third study was called off when faculty refused to participate.
