Hundreds of thousands of Utahns depend upon the national parks in Utah remaining open, and are losing money every day that you hold our nation hostage.
As you voted for the shutdown that furloughs over 800,000 government workers and lays off many more Utahns in the private sector of tourism and recreation, we are asking that you suspend your pay (that we provide with our tax dollars) until our national parks are reopened.
Why is this important?
