Age discrimination should be like other crimes. When there are blatantly discriminatory behaviors and remarks in the workplace with witnesses, we should be able to call the police.
Why is this important?
Everyone knows age discrimination is rampant in the workplace across the US. We are even told to take experience and education off of our resumes in order to not give away our age. The onus is on the victim to be labeled as a complainer or a whistle blower.
