Take down "Heterosexual Awareness Month" from Facebook
We the undersigned petition the administrators and moderators of Facebook.com to delete and ban the "Heterosexual Awareness Month" page on the Facebook website. It is harmful to the Gay Community and a focal point of hate speech.
Why is this important?
The Facebook page, "Heterosexual Awareness Month", was established some time in June. It has consistently posted anti-GLBTQI* messages and images, and takes part in fear-mongering and demonising the Queer community. It is a gathering place for those that openly hate queer folk, and they are trying to forward their mission with t-shirts, pamphlets, and booths/tables in public places. They are a vehicle of hatred and need to be shut down.
