The Trump Administration has given the CDC a list of forbidden words: science-based, evidence-based, fetus, vulnerable, transgender, diversity and entitlement, not to mention telling the EPA they cannot use climate change. Censorship has no place in science or medicine.
Why is this important?
The Trump Administration does not believe in facts because facts -- evidence -- provide proof of things that he, and/or his base, do not want to believe are true. We are all at risk if scientists and health care providers are not allowed to use the language of science and medicine. Censorship is the refuge of dictators.
