The US Postal Service published in the Federal Register on August 1st, 2014 they want to stop delivering ordinary mail overnight all across the nation starting in January of 2015. We want the post office to speed the mail up to service standards before July of 2012 when there was a larger area of our country reached overnight by a single 1st class postage stamp.
Why is this important?
There is a push to close mail processing plants, slow down mail delivery and stop six day delivery of mail. This is a move in the wrong direction for the post office and the people of this country.
