To: Jack Dorsey, CEO Twitter
Take Trump Off Twitter
We, the undersigned, respectfully request that Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey end Donald Trump's Twitter account. Donald Trump’s "tweets" purvey purposely-false information, attack other public servants unfairly, inflame international diplomatic tensions, and threaten the reputation of the United States of America as a world leader of peace and democratic ideals.
Why is this important?
Disarm Trump's Twitter Account
Take Trump Off Twitter (TTT)
We, the undersigned, respectfully request that Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey end Donald Trump’s Twitter account. Donald Trump’s "tweets" purvey purposely-false information, attack other public servants unfairly, inflame international diplomatic tensions, and threaten the reputation of the United States of America as a world leader of peace and democratic ideals.
Perhaps most disturbing, Trump’s tweets deliver inconsistent and contradictory messages to the American People about their country’s policies and stability.
Secretary of State Tillerson called Trump a "f****** moron" after Trump ridiculed the Secretary in a tweet for seeking a negotiated solution with North Korea, a nuclear power.
The Washington Post reported that one of Trump's closest friends, Tom Barrack, was "shocked" and "stunned" by Trump's rhetoric and tweets.
Our Constitution protects free speech. However, Twitter is a web-based technology platform that reserves full discretion to limit access to specific customers for abusing their service. We think Donald Trump has abused the privilege of this service, and continues to harm America and the American people with his continued access to Twitter. We request Mr. Dorsey immediately discontinue Trump’s access to Twitter.
