Take Trump Off Twitter
Donald Trump has been using Twitter as a ploy of distraction; as a propaganda tool; as a racist, misogynistic, and anti-semitic “dog whistle” to white supremacist groups; and as a weapon - unleashing his supporters on those who dare to cross him. As President-elect, he should be subject to a different set of rules regarding his use of social media.
Why is this important?
I'm concerned that President-elect Trump has been abusing his power using this platform, and have been reading about multiple death threats to various journalists, and people who have "upset Trump." Most recently - as an artist/musician - I am deeply alarmed at Trump's attacks on the actors in the cast of Hamilton. The review in the New York Times on Megyn Kelly's memoir - which included her experience with Trump and his Twitter account - was my first clue that Trump's use of Twitter was something actually dangerous and not just entertaining.
