Tattoo policy exemption for Military Veterans
Military Veterans exemption for the tattoo policy (14.1.4). Allowing Veterans with visible tattoos to return home and serve the state as Connecticut State Troopers.
Why is this important?
Men and women returning home after serving their country in The United States Military are now being told they are not up to standards, and now are not allowed to serve their home state of Connecticut as State Troops. These men and women have sacrificed a lot in service to their country, only to return home and be turned away because of tattoos they received while on active duty. Tattoos are apart of military tradition and mean a lot to those who have served.
