The tax code, among other things, is a statement of our country's values and priorities. I petition my government to take action to prevent further tragedy. I suggest a 100% tax on the manufacture, importation and sale of guns and ammunition, higher fees for licenses to maintain an establishment that sells guns, etc. I petition my government to use these funds to provide resources to schools to educate all children about mental health issues, decrease stigma about getting help, identify those who need support, and providing appropriate treatment and preventative care to all.
