Tax the Catholic Church
I urge the Internal Revenue Service to check into recent political actions by the Catholic Church which are directed clearly against President Obama. One bishop likened the President to Hitler and Stalin from the very pulpit of his church. Such blatant political activity is prohibited for an organization claiming tax-exempt status, and we, the tax payer should not be forced to indirectly support this Witch Hunt.
Why is this important?
In recent months, the Catholic Church has launched unprecedented political attacks against President Obama. One bishop went as far as likening President Obama to Hitler and Stalin from the pulpit of his church. Such political activity against a particular candidate violates the tax-exempt status, and as citizens we should not be indirectly funding them.
