Tax Wall Street, not Main Street

A tiny tax on securities buys/sells would provide significant federal revenue AND curtail the unfair high-volume trading strategies that many investment banks and funds employ, at very low profit per transaction but adding up to megabucks for the banks and funds. Retail investors can only dream about using these strategies, yet retail investors provide much, if not most, of the banks' profits.

Why is this important?

Raise federal tax revenue with a new tax on buys and sells of securities of all publicly-held corporations.
