Please give the citizens of Washington D.C. the right to be legally and constitutionally represented in Congress. The abuse of the citizens of the Nation's Capital must stop!
Why is this important?
I live ina city that is the Capital of the United States where I have lived sor the last forty years, paid taxes, voted and taught at a local University (George washington U.). My one highly qualified representative in Gongress does not have a right to vote on major legislation (her vote was taken away recently, adding insult to injury!) Thjis is a scandal in our democracy. yet Congress has stedfastly refused to put the issue on the agenda. Thiuss must stop
