Teachers can not do the job of a S.W.A.T. team.

Teachers can not do the job of a S.W.A.T. team. Keep guns out of schools, let the police do police work and teachers teach.

Why is this important?

It is not reasonable to expect that teachers can or should do what we normally send in a highly skilled Special Weapons And Tactics police unit to do. Encouraging or sanctioning teachers to act as combatants is a set up for disaster. Let the teachers teach, counsel, and help students grow up to be non-violent people and let the police do the job of protecting them and their students while they do that.
