Tell 7-11 to move adult-oriented magazines out of kids' line of vision

7-Eleven touts its concern for the communities it operates in with such things as its Come of Age campaign, which claims that regarding their sales of alcohol and tobacco, they "want to ensure that they are sold in a legal and responsible manner." Shouldn't magazines featuring scantily clad women also be considered an 'age-restricted' product? We would appreciate your considering the impact of these materials on our children, and removing them from a child's line of vision, where they seem to prominently displayed.

Why is this important?

Everyone is aware that kids are being over-sexualized by video, radio, TV and movies. What about those adult-themed mags at 7-11 - that always seem to be right at kids-eye level? Do kids need this exposure?
Please, Mr. DePinto, insist that magazines with adult-oriented covers are moved to a higher rack, where kids can't be so readily exposed to them, inculcating them with images that promote sexual stereotypes.
