In light of the President's racist remarks, every member of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives should boycott the State of the Union Address. Be patriotic! Protest Trump's racism, xenophobia, and sexism. The nation can be proud of those who take a stand against this disgraceful President.
Why is this important?
This President has made a mockery of our country and our heritage of welcoming immigrants and celebrating diversity. I'm embarrassed by this President and his remarks. Everyone in this country should be. Our U.S. representatives should show their disdain and turn their backs on him at this grave moment in history.
