Too many Arizona workers cannot meet their basic needs on the current low wage rates; raise the minimum wage to $11. per hour.
Why is this important?
Having struggled for years to "make ends meet" (they never did!), I know how hard it is to earn only minimum wages. The whole state benefits when people can earn more, and social service/public aid can consequently be reduced.
