Tell Congress Drop Fake "flexibility" Act and Pass Healthy Families Act

Workers need real flexibility – not the shell game that's The Working Families 'Flexibility' Act of 2017 (HR 1180), sponsored by Rep. Martha Roby (R-Alabama). This fake 'flexibility' Act claims to give more time with family by substituting comp time for overtime pay. In fact, it would force people to work longer hours away from family, and force them to take time off later ONLY if the employer says it's convenient. Tell your representative to REJECT HR 1180 and support the Healthy Families Act.

Why is this important?

All workers need time to care for themselves or a loved one. Earned sick time ensures workers can afford to take time they've earned to go to the doctor or stay home with a sick child -- without losing pay. We don't need a fake 'flexibility' act, we need the Healthy Families Act so we can earn sick time wherever we work in the U.S.A.
