The Pentagon just announced THOUSANDS of troops will remain deployed to the U.S.-Mexico border through September, and will now actively conduct surveillance of people seeking refuge. [1] This new, expanded border troop deployment is not even legal under a 140 year old law — the Posse Comitatus Act— that prohibits the military from engaging in domestic law enforcement.
