Tell Congress to Start Working Together
The past four years have been dysfunctional in terms of Congress and the president being able to work together to solve the nations problems. Please tell Congress that there is no solution to the debt crisis with psychotic adherence to ideology of any kind.
The only way to solve our problems is through compromise: You will get some things you want, and I will get some things I want. There is no ideologically pure solution; to think otherwise is fantasy.
Let's tell congress enough is enough. Tell the House and Senate that you demand them to work together for the good of the American people and not for the good of their personal ideology. There are real problems to solve that transcend personal belief. It is time that real negotiations become commonplace whereby the House, the Senate and the President work together in an atmosphere of give and take.
