To: Coca-Cola, Delta, Home Depot, Intercontinental Hotels, and UPS
Tell businesses to stop Georgia's hate bill.
“Coca-Cola, Delta, Home Depot, Intercontinental Hotels & UPS:
We respectfully urge you to issue public statements denouncing the discriminatory, inappropriately-named ‘religious freedom’ legislation being re-introduced by Georgia lawmakers this year. As Georgia-based business leaders, your voices are vital to the conversation about civil rights and equality in our state.”

Why is this important?
Sen. Josh McKoon and other right-wing extremists are once again trying to legalize discrimination in Georgia. Last year, Georgia businesses like Coca-Cola, Delta, Home Depot, IHG and UPS spoke out against the legislation and were instrumental in killing this bad bill with a good name.
But this year, they've been silent.
Religious freedom is already protected by the First Amendment, so this legislation would do nothing but allow people to use their "deeply held religious beliefs" as an excuse for discrimination or abuse.
Georgia’s religious "freedom” legislation would be an enormous leap backwards for equality, civil rights and child protection. With the help of Georgia’s business leaders, we can defeat these extremist bills and continue to move Georgia forward.
