Tell Georgia Governor Deal Not To Sign Gun Legislation
The proposed Georgia gun law is bringing back the bad old days, when guns were allowed everywhere--in bars, churches, and public spaces. Now even airports are not safe from concealed weapons. But Governor Deal need not worry because the one place guns are not allowed is the Georgia State Capital. Please sign this petition and urge Governor Deal not to sign this bill which endangers public safety and will surely increase the epidemic of gun violence.
Why is this important?
I am appalled by the increasing epidemic of gun violence in this country. According to the New York Times, 70 laws to loosen gun restriction have been passed since the shooting the Sandy Hook school shooting. I am hoping that this petition can garner enough signatures to stop the Georgia gun law from passage.
