To: President Donald Trump and Governor Bill Lee
Tell Gov. Haslam (R-TN) to say Yes to State Insurance Exhanges
Under the federal healthcare overhaul, states are required to setup their own insurance exchanges. Gov. Haslam (R-TN) has stated he supports this, but House Leader Gerald McCormick (R-TN-district 26) has said "this will be a hard sell among rank and file Republicans" and signaled the federal government should take over.
Governor Haslam, stand up to these "rank and file Republicans" for what Americans have clearly said they are in favor of.

Why is this important?

Gerald McCormick, and all of these "rank and file Republicans" of whom you speak, stop wasting taxpayers dollars fighting against what the American people have signaled they want. Ordinary folks, you need to get on the phone and call your state representative in your district and tell them you support the Affordable Care Act and the creation of state insurance exchanges.
This is an attempt to challenge the federal law on the Affordable Care Act, which was already decided in the Supreme Court. Governor Haslam, stand up to these "rank and file Republicans" for what Americans have clearly said they are in favor of.
People should also find out who their local legislator is and call their office. You can find out what your district is here:
