Connecticut's Department of Social Services (DSS) has taken us back to the days when segregation and all its deleterious effects was legal in America. Without explanation, Connecticut mandates that Medicaid patients, the poor, have no choice when it comes to dental fillings. DSS mandates they MUST accept dental amalgam fillings which are 50% MERCURY!
Why is this important?
Dental amalgam is 50% Mercury, which is a known neurotoxin that adversely affects human health and the environment. Many people are not only unaware of the alternatives that are available but, more importantly, they are unaware of the harm Mercury causes to their health and the environment.
