Tell Governor Snyder: Stop fracking before it pollutes the Great Lakes

At every stage of the drilling process, fracking puts the Great Lakes, and the waterways that feed them, at risk of water contamination, toxic waste spills and more. I urge you to stop the spread of fracking in Michigan before it pollutes the Great Lakes.

Instead of dirty, dangerous fracking, please invest in clean energy sources like wind and solar power that don't pollute our water.

Why is this important?

Fracking is descending on Michigan: The oil and gas industry has already snatched up millions of acres of mineral rights in Michigan to greatly expand fracking throughout the state.

At every stage of the drilling process, fracking puts the Great Lakes, and the waterways that feed them, at risk of water contamination, toxic waste spills and more.

The Governor is holding a public forum on his energy policy on Monday 3/25. Take action now to make sure your voice is heard. Tell Governor Snyder to stop the spread of fracking before it pollutes the Great Lakes.
