Tell Legendary Entertainment to cast a Latino actor, not Charlie Hunnam, as Mexican-American drug...

Legendary Entertainment, the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts (NHFA), calls on you to do the right thing: cast a Latino actor--not a British actor--to play the role of Mexican American drug lord Edgar Valdez Villarreal in the film: "American Drug Lord." Don't whitewash Latino roles!

Why is this important?

Recently, we have seen the backlash against the Academy Awards for an all white actor nomination slate. No Latino actor, no African American, Asian or Native American actor was nominated to any of the Oscar acting categories. If Latinos don't get cast in roles, they clearly can't receive any acting nominations/awards. Demand that Hollywood stop whitewashing Latino roles.
