To: The Ohio State House and The Ohio State Senate
Tell Ohio Judges They Are Not Above The Law.
Judges in Gurensey County Ohio are ignoring the U.S. Supreme Court by refusing to sign marriage licenses for gay couples. This is about civil rights for all Americans. Tell your state legislature that judges must uphold religious and personal justice and liberty for all, by upholding the law of the land, or resign from public office and forfeit public funded paychecks.
Why is this important?
I'm tired of the poor logic used by some Christian legislature, which espouses religious freedom in order to trample civil liberty. I'm quite disappointed that so many of our leaders seem to have failed our 8th grade lesson detailing the cause and spirit of separation of church and state.
