Tell OSHA $11k Fine is Not Adequate for WV Spill

An $11,000 fine against Freedom Industries is not an acceptable penalty for poisoning the drinking water for 300,000 West Virginians this past January. I encourage that OSHA, or the Justice Department, consider criminal charges.

Why is this important?

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) fined a West Virginia company, Freedom Industries, only $11,000 for poisoning the drinking water of 300,000 people in January. The spill sickened up to 1 in 5 people, and costed businesses an estimated $61 million.
