Tell Our Leaders - Stop The Gun Insanity!
1. Reinstate and make permanent the Ban on Assault Weapons and High Capacity Clips.
2. Close the "gun show loophole" that allows anyone to buy a gun without a background check.
3. Pass and enforce a National Gun Control Act which requires a 2 week awaiting period and federal background check on any gun purchase, and bans all state laws which allow carrying of a concealed weapon without a police permit.

Why is this important?
Enough is enough. We may not be able to prevent every act of gun violence in this country, but we have to take action to set this country back on a sane path of responsible gun laws. Americans demand that our leaders stand up to the NRA and gun lobby. Yes we have the 2nd Amendment. But there is no excuse for allowing anyone to buy a military-style weapon at a gunshow without a background check, or supporting laws such as the recent one in Michigan that would allow anyone to carry a concealed weapon into a school. It's utter insanity and its got to stop.
