Tell SRP: Don't Double Down on Coal!
Salt River Project: Don't double your coal investment at the Navajo Generating Station.
Why is this important?
The utility Salt River Project (SRP) already owns over 50 times more coal than solar power. Yet, they are currently considering doubling its ownership of Arizona's largest and dirtiest coal-fired power plant, the Navajo Generating Station. This power plant is one of the nation's single biggest contributors to global warming pollution and also contributes to regional haze and air quality problems in Grand Canyon National Park.
Tell SRP that doubling down on coal is a bad investment for our environment and our health, and should instead invest in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
