Tell the Alaska legislature to raise the minimum wage!

Alaska has some of the highest costs of living in this country. The current minimum wage is not adequate to meet the needs of its residents. We need a $10.50 minimum wage.

Why is this important?

The cost of living in Alaska has increased so drastically since the recession that families can no longer make ends meet. I know many families who have had to move to the lower 48 because they could no longer afford to live in their home state. Our state's current minimum wage is $7.75. Join me in calling on our state legislature to raise the minimum wage to $10.50.
