TELL the Department of Justice to investigate Secretary of State Jason GANT’S RACIAL DISCRIMINATION on VOTING
On July 31st 2013 the South Dakota Secretary of State, Jason GANT and the State Election Board voted to keep Native American Indians on reservations at one day to register and vote prior to Election Day, while the rest of South Dakota receives 32 days.
On August 6, 2013, Four Directions filed a Complaint with United States Attorney General Holder for Civil Rights Violations against Native American Indians. On this same day in 1965, President Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act into law.
Please contact Attorney General Holder and ask him to investigate this intention discrimination used in suppressing the Native American Indian vote.

Why is this important?

When States can use discrimination to suppress the vote it creates devastating social and economic problems on Reservations. The State of South Dakota continued denial of equality have placed Reservations as the poorest counties in the United States to this day.
